As any STAR WARS fan knows, the love for the saga extends well beyond the films and into our daily lives. We play with the LEGOs, collect the figurines, read the books, and wear the apparel. Some of us have been collecting for 40 years, others our whole lives. It serves as inspiration and fills us with wonderment.
That is why, for the 40th Anniversary of STAR WARS, Artist Matt Busch chose to illustrate an epic collection of over 200 of greatest, the rarest, and the strangest collectibles to hit the shelves. With material spanning the film in 1977 to the recently released ROGUE ONE, nearly every character and type of item is depicted, from toy to magazine to poster to tape dispenser. This will be one of the pieces in your own collection that you could stare at for hours.
The limited edition print is 16″ x 36″, a nice size that is large without taking up too much wall space- perfect for those in-between wall spaces and nooks. You can get awesome frames this size on Amazon.com- just search for “16 36 frame”.
The print is a limited edition of only 250- all of which are signed and numbered in the lower right-hand box by Matt Busch.
Plus- there is an opportunity to have your print remarqued in the bottom center square. This means Matt will draw you an additional marker sketch of a character! This will truly make this collectible one-of-a-kind. The cost of having the remarque sketch is an extra $25. (You can select whether you want the sketch included or not above.) Matt was only doing custom sketches to order at the show- if you’re ordering now, you won’t get to choose, but will be happy with what you get. Matt typically draws Vader, Yoda, BB-8, and Old Luke.
Check out the video interview below, where Matt chats with Studio SB3 about the piece, STAR WARS in general, and more!
Inspired by the very first appearance of Boba Fett from the STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL! Artist Matt Busch has re-visualized the nostalgic cartoon portion where Luke Skywalker, See Threepio and Artoo Detoo crash a Y-Wing Fighter into the murky sea of Panna Prime, only to meet the notorious bounty hunter riding atop a Panna Dragon! This is perhaps Busch’s most vivid and painstakingly detailed STAR WARS painting he has illustrated yet!
The limited edition print is 18″ x 24″, a standard size that is large without taking up too much wall space. It’s also a common frame size you can find at any Wal*Mart or Target. Busch has also designed the piece as more of an art decor, as opposed to the flashy movie poster work. This would look fantastic in a living room or den!
The print is limited to only 250- all of which are signed and numbered by Matt Busch.
Plus- there is an opportunity to have your print remarqued! This means you can have Matt Busch personally draw you an additional small sketch of Boba Fett’s helmet in the left box area at the bottom of the print! (The box on the right is for signature and limited number.) The cost of having the remarque is $25. You can choose whether you want the remarque sketch or not above.
There is an extremely limited number of these left, so nab one while you can!
**The Pre-Sale for this Limited Edition Art Print has ended. However, you will still be able to get prints at the show, while they last. See you at STAR WARS CELEBRATION Chicago 2019!**
You knew the legend before you even saw SOLO: A Star Wars Story. Matt Busch’s new limited art print “High Stakes” is a case of life imitating art, and then art imitating life once again. In the film, the lighting and staging of the scene where Han and Lando play an intense game of Sabacc was inspired by classic Caravaggio paintings. Here, Busch has reversed the inspiration by illustrating the scene using the same chiaroscuro light and shadow to create a new stylized Baroque work of art.
Busch adds, “I wanted to create a piece that would be perfect to frame and hang in your man-cave, woman-cave, game room, or anywhere you play cards with your Star Wars friends.”
This beautiful limited edition art print is 24″ x 20″, the perfect size to hang near your poker table (or sabacc table). It’s a standard size for frames that you’ll find at WalMart or anywhere you shop framing.
The edition size is 250 prints. The first 200 are available to pre-order here, with the remaining 50 available exclusively at the Star Wars Celebration Chicago this April. Even if you pre-order, all prints must be picked up at the show at booth #1523. Please print out the receipt email from your order and have it with you!
All prints are signed and numbered in the lower right-hand box by Matt Busch. You will have the opportunity at the show to choose which number edition you’d like, but that’s on a first-come, first serve basis.
Plus- there is an opportunity to have your print remarqued in the lower left-hand box. This means Matt will draw you an additional marker sketch of a character, vehicle, or item! This will truly make this collectible art print one-of-a-kind. The cost of having the remarque sketch will be an additional fee, payable at the show. You will also be able to choose what you’d like Matt to draw, but it would be helpful if you have an image you like of said character or item on your phone for him to see exactly what you are thinking. Sometimes customers want Matt to draw a LEGO Minifig, so anything goes!
*NOTE* The limited number of maps available Online has sold out. However, the remainder of prints will be available soon. Stay tuned for details. If you have questions, or want to be sure to lock in one for yourself, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Years in the making, Matt Busch is proud to unveil the illustrated Indiana Jones World Map! Perfect timing, being the 30th Anniverary of Indiana Jones this year. Authorized through Lucasfilm and all proceeds from the sale of this print go to American disabled veterans.
The map shows all of the locations that Indiana Jones has made archeological discoveries- not just the movies- the novels, the comic books, the Young Indy TV shows, the video games, and more.
There are 36 different archeological artifacts displayed, each illustrated where Indy discovered it, and numbered chronologically. 3 Legend sections list info on the artifacts, including name, city and country, year, title of the story the artifact was discovered in, followed by symbols. The Key chart lets you decipher those symbols for each artifact to see how the story was presented, be it film, novel, TV Episode, etc… In many cases, these stories have been delivered in multiple platforms. In other words, “Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis” was at first designed as a video game, but later developed as a comic book, too…
In each of the four corners, Busch illustrated an exotic stone relief carving, each representing a cultural motif from one of the four Indiana Jones feature films.
The print measures a whopping 24″ X 36″ (fit for a world map!) and easy to frame in any standard movie poster size frame. All prints are signed and numbered (limited edition of 255) by Matt Busch.
Konxari (pronounced kon-zar-ee) is a deck of 88 cards used as a supplement to communicate with those who have passed on, yet seem to walk among us. The set is perfect for ghost hunting, séances, or any kind of spirit communication you desire.
For centuries, the gifted have used methods such as Tarot Cards to predict the future, or Ouija Boards to contact the deceased. Now, an incredible long-lost practice from the ancients has been resurrected into modern-style playing cards, enabling you to interact with spirits in a way you’ve never experienced before.
While the use of Konxari Cards could never harm you, the supernatural should never be taken lightly. Be respectful of the practice and the souls you encounter may be more beneficial than you realize. Perhaps you can help them. Perhaps they can help you.
“Ditch the Ouija Board and grab a Konxari deck.
It’s like having a Blackberry from the other side.”
